We are pleased to announce that Madelief Matheson and Ross Simmons have qualified as Solicitors within our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department.

David Barnes, Partner and Head of the Department, is delighted to welcome Maddy and Ross, commenting: “it is a pleasure to have Maddy and Ross qualify with our department and I look forward to working with them in continuing to deliver outstanding legal services for all our clients.”

Laura Miller, Associate, added: “it will be great to have Maddy and Ross join the team. I worked with them both during their time as trainees and have no doubt they will be great assets to the department.”

Maddy joined the firm as a paralegal in 2023 and accepted a training contract later that year. Maddy began her training assisting David Barnes and Laura Miller with matters involving mediation, arbitration and the High Court, and has also gained valuable experience in Private Client, Corporate and Property matters.

Ross has worked in contentious practice since graduating in 2019 and joined the Department in 2022 as a paralegal. Ross will strengthen our offering of dispute resolution services to businesses across the region.

Maddy and Ross will again work closely with David and Laura. Their qualification marks a significant milestone for the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department and reflects the firm’s overall commitment to supporting new talent and providing exceptional legal services.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Maddy and Ross as they embark on this exciting new chapter.
