Oglethorpe Sturton and Gillibrand attended the Garstang Show this year.
Our stand was prepped and ready in the early hours of Saturday morning awaiting the many visitors due through the gates.
The main attraction at our stand was our cow, sheep and chicken shaped balloons designed by Farm Creative, which were a big hit with the children and the balloons were seen dotted about the showground for the remainder of the day. They were so popular we ran out by lunchtime, and many visitors had walked all over the showground just to find us for a balloon.
Our stand was also filled with cool refreshments and a delicious selection of cakes made by Seasons Cakes of Ingleton. We chatted to visitors as well as catching up with clients. Guests were able to enjoy a glass of pimms or piece of cake whilst watching the events of the show along the main ringside.
The team had an enjoyable day made even better with the beautiful weather. From the perfect position of the stand we had a great view of the main ring and got to enjoy all the events, especially the action horses which were a particular favourite.
A big thank you goes to the show organisers for the smooth running of the show and we look forward to being at the show again next year.
