Our Private Client team has one clear ethos; their clients. They have a long history of expertly guiding clients through intricate legal issues.
The team is led by two of the firm’s partners, Clare Love and Mark Hutchinson-Lyons, who have been noted as providing a “strong partner lead” and inspiring a “tremendous” work ethic in the recent Legal 500 UK rankings.
Clare and Mark are both fully qualified members of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the internationally recognised leading professional organisation in the field, and with more than 30 years of post-qualification experience between them, they lead a well-balanced team who have worked hard to become the pre-eminent Private Client team in the local area. Alongside long-serving Senior Associate Hayley Housley, a member of Solicitors for the Elderly, their familiarity offers reassurances to returning as well as new clients. Bethany Wood and Eleanor Belshire both trained with the firm, they are rising stars and are an assurance that the ethos of the firm will continue. Liz Bryne, Helen McCabe and Laura Brereton complete the team as Senior Solicitors and have brought a wide range of experienced lawyers together to create a team that is able to assist clients in some of the most interesting and complex legal issues facing clients today.
The team’s deep understanding of matters has not gone unnoticed, particularly in the Legal 500 rankings where the team was listed under “Personal Tax, Trusts & Probate” and “Agriculture & Estates”. Based on feedback from intermediaries and clients, the Legal 500 singles out the leading solicitors and teams in each practice area and was full of praise for the Private Client’s team’s “friendly and very much personalised approach”. The team was praised for their “deep understanding of issues affecting clients” as well as their broad legal knowledge and willingness to work closely with accountants and other advisors to ensure that they achieve the best possible outcome for their client.
