At Oglethorpe Sturton and Gillibrand, we have a legacy of supporting rural businesses. Our combination of legal expertise, local knowledge, and a personable approach has been cultivated over more than 200 years of advising farmers across Lancashire, Cumbria, Yorkshire and beyond.

We continue to seamlessly provide this first-rate support in the face of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Like many of our clients, we are sad to miss our usual attendance at the local agricultural shows including the Westmorland and Bentham shows this year. However, we have been fortunate to participate in virtual rural events on a national scale, such as the Lloyd’s Sustainable Agriculture Information Session and the Economic Update hosted by HSBC’s Regional Agriculture Director.

Things are being done differently at the moment, however, we continue to be a current and familiar face on the agricultural scene, just as we always have.

Should you require advice on your rural business, our expert team is available to assist you. We look forward to continuing to support you, and to seeing you at the next shows – whenever they may be!
