The Residential Property team is in a fortunate position in 2026, going from strength to strength.

Most recently, Charles Robinson, an experienced and local property solicitor, has joined the team, reinforcing the quality of service we offer at our office in Kirkby Lonsdale.

On joining, Charles mentioned “I am thrilled to be joining the Kirkby Lonsdale team of Oglethorpe Sturton & Gillibrand, a firm with a reputation in the town and beyond, for delivering high quality legal services in a friendly and efficient manner.”

The team is headed up by Charlotte Russell, known also for her commercial development work. The range of experience within the team is impressive, covering house sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers and leasehold property, but predominantly more complex rural property work.

The team is proud of the excellent feedback they receive, with regular 5 star Google reviews for both offices and earning themselves a reputation for being pro-active, responsive, and intelligent lawyers. Through their dedicated work ethic, each lawyer demonstrates just how much they care for their clients and how they go above and beyond.

As Charlotte remarks “We take on the right work, at the right time and we do it to the very best of our ability. We make sure we never take on too much, allowing ourselves the time to make sure everything gets dealt with in a very efficient and timely manner, and it is particularly important that every call and email is answered, and all those involved are kept updated.”

One client’s recent feedback could not have said it better; “the combination of professionalism, efficiency and friendliness,” a recipe for success from a collaborative team effort.
