Oglethorpe Sturton & Gillibrand is delighted to announce that five members of staff were promoted to senior positions within the firm at the start of the firm’s new financial year.
Anna Wilkinson (Matrimonial), Helen McCabe (Wills and Probate) and Claire Dawson (Residential Property) were each promoted to Associate.
Anna is a family law specialist, whose expertise centres on financial arrangements upon divorce, cohabitation disputes, separation agreements, pre-nuptial agreements and child arrangement issues. Anna is also an active member of Resolution, a community of family justice professionals who are committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes.
Helen’s specialist knowledge of wills, trusts and probate mean that she is able to help clients plan for the future and guide bereaved families through the process of administering a loved one’s estate. After a series of additional exams designed to test her technical expertise in complex matter, Helen has been a full accredited member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP) since 2018. Helen spearheads the provision of wills, trusts and probate advice within the firm’s Kirkby Lonsdale Office.
Claire is a member of our Residential Property team and has a wealth of valuable experience in all aspects of conveyancing, including residential sales and purchases, transfer of equity, remortgages, equity release and new build purchases, with specific expertise in complex rural properties. Claire’s efficiency, care and attention exemplifies the firm’s core values, and sets her apart within an area of law dominated by impersonal, process-driver rather than advice driven providers.
Completing the promotions, Carolina Donner (Company Commercial) was also promoted to Senior Solicitor and Maria Neils (Residential Property) to Senior Legal Executive.
Following the promotions of Helen, Claire and Maria, our Kirkby Lonsdale office is now staffed entirely by experienced senior legal advisors, further enhancing the quality and breadth of service that the firm is able to offer to its clients in Kirkby Lonsdale, across the Lune Valley and further afield.
