Nicole’s legal journey began in a local high school, leading her to study Criminology and the Criminal Justice System at Edge Hill University. Starting as a legal secretary in 2018 at Oglethorpe Sturton & Gillibrand, she embarked on a Solicitors Apprenticeship. After completing her Foundations in Law, she’s now tackling the Solicitors Qualifying Examination, driven by her determination to excel in the legal profession.

Specialist areas that Nicole covers include:

  • Buying and selling of properties including leasehold properties, reviewing of titles, drafting and circulating documentation and advising on properties, both leasehold and freehold.
  • Mortgages and re-financing including remortgages.
  • Leasehold transactions including sales and purchases, assured shorthold tenancy agreements and advice on the Building Safety Act 2022.
  • Land Registry registration including registered and unregistered land and properties, reviewing deeds, drafting statements of truth, submitting applications and liaising with HM Land Registry.
