ELEANOR BELSHIRE
Eleanor started her training with Oglethorpe Sturton & Gillibrand in September 2018 after working as a paralegal during her LPC. Eleanor attended Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School and studied Law at the University of Leeds. Eleanor went on to achieve a distinction in her LPC and LLM Master at the University of Law in Manchester.
During her training contract, Eleanor completed a year in the family department gaining experience in divorce, financial application and children issues. Eleanor then completed six months in the Property department working on both residential and commercial transactions. Eleanor completed her final seat in the Private Client department assisting with making wills, probate matter and Inheritance Tax planning. Eleanor qualified as a solicitor in the Private Client department in September 2020.
Outside of work, Eleanor keeps fit by playing hockey for Lancaster and Morecambe Hockey club and plays an active role in the club’s committee. Eleanor is also training for her first marathon in Manchester.
