Laura is an Associate in our Commercial Property department, qualified in September 2004 and joined Oglethorpe Sturton & Gillibrand LLP in January 2023. Laura spent the first ten years of qualification at international law firms based in the North of England and has since worked in the local area.

Laura’s experience covers a wide range of commercial property work and she has acted across a variety of sectors, including industrial, office space, housing, hospitality, energy and retail. Laura advises, amongst others, from the perspectives of landowners, leasehold occupiers, developers, investors and funders. Laura’s broad experience means she is an adaptable adviser who appreciates and understands the various contexts and constraints of any given matter and is readily able to pre-empt issues which may arise in a transaction. Laura is pragmatic and commercial in her approach and works to achieve successful outcomes in a business and solutions focused manner.

Laura grew up, was educated and lives in the Lancaster area. Laura is involved with and known within the local community and in her spare time enjoys walking, the theatre, travel and spending time with family and friends.
