This week is Resolution’s Family Dispute Resolution Week.
Resolution is an organisation of family lawyers and other professionals in England and Wales, who take a constructive, non-confrontational approach to family law matters.
Resolution supports the development of family lawyers through its national and regional training programmes, publications, good practice guides and through its accreditation scheme.
The aim of this week is to raise awareness of the importance of parents putting their children’s needs first during divorce.
Both our family solicitors at Oglethorpe Sturton & Gillibrand are qualified Resolution practitioners, and Head of Department, Emma Briggs, is a collaboratively trained lawyer and a Member of the North Lancashire/South Lakes Group of Collaborative Lawyers.
